Well for some crazy reason I could not get this post to go with the youtube video so read this and then enjoy the video below :) We all know I love worship music (right Jenn? :), and love learning about new songs. This is much different than you probably might expect but it is AMAZING. It reminds me just how small I am in this little world, how prideful my heart is, and just how beautiful and big He is. He loves me more than I will ever know. Think of that first line of the song "He is jealous for me, loves like a hurricane, I am a tree." WOW! My friend from Georgia, Laura Susan, had this on her blog and she talked about how she had danced around singing "Oh how he loves us." I think the same thing but my version (and I dream of this often) would be that I was outside when it is raining, sun peaking through a dark cloud with my arms wide open, a little girl who is broken, and in love with her daddy. I know many days I lack to come to Him, to come to His feet and bring Him EVERY piece of my heart, and my life. I am grateful for this moment where He reminds me that He loves me, every scarred memory, every mistake, every minute of stupidness and when I think I can't go on any longer He loves me anyways. NOTHING can SEPARATE me from the love of my Father, OUR Father. How Great is our GOD! I hope and PRAY that this song and the words that you hear will comfort your broken heart and remind you of how much you are loved and how MIGHTY He is. HE LOVES YOU! And I love you too for how you continue to remind me to run to Him and to seek His face and that my strength should only come from Him, and His perfect word. Thank-you for your friendship, and the love you pour into my life and allowing me to be apart of your lives even though I know most times I am stubborn, prideful but I am grateful you still love me anyways :) Love you all!

jesus culture - how he loves us

Here are the words to the song: Verse 1: He is jealous for me, Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree, Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy. When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory, And I realise just how beautiful You are, And how great Your affections are for me. Pre-Chorus: And oh, how He loves us so, Oh how He loves us, How He loves us so Chorus 1: Yeah, He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves. Yeah, He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves. Verse 2: We are His portion and He is our prize, Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes, If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking. So Heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss, And the heart turns violently inside of my chest, I don’t have time to maintain these regrets, When I think about, the way…

You...

So for the past few days I have pretty much been in bed, or on the couch resting, trying to get better. Everyone knows I LOVE worship music and this is a song that has captured my heart over the past few days. I pray that it stirs your heart like it has mine! By: Hillsong United titled "You." As I pray and wait up on the Lord. I know your grace in love I am restored. As I think of all you've done for me. The mystery of your love. Who walked upon the sea? Who lived to die for me? You Lord, You Lord, You are Lord. As I look upon You I am changed and though I fail your faithful love remains. As I sing and worship you I find again no words describe your love. Who watches over me? Whose love has covered me? You Lord, You Lord, You are Lord. Halleujah, Halleujah, Almighty one there is none like You.

Disney with the VanLue girls

This past Monday I got the privellege and honor of going to Disney with the VanLue girls and their precious mom. It was SO much fun! We went to Magic Kingdom all day to celebrate Kristin's 5th birthday! Below are a few pictures I took. The one of Kristin is blurry because we were going round and round in the teacups and I was having a hard time holding on to dear life and to the phone. I had to take the one of Leni because it was to adorable not to take. She wore my sunglasses for quite a while, and said she needed to keep them so I would not break them! I think the best memories were the exictement Leni and Kristin had about going on rides with me, especially Thunder Mountain. Being with Krisitin in Birthdy car at the racetracks (I am surprised we are still alive after that trip around the track :) It was an eventful day. Cissy was right when she said in her blog it's something like the Gladiators. I remember at one time I had Kristin on one hand and Leni on the other and them just pushing each others buttons whatever way possible. Never a dull moment with these 3 precious girls :) Thank-you Cissy for letting me come with you. It will always be a special memory etched in my heart forever. I look forward to many other opportunites to be with you and your girlies :) If you want to see more pictures of our fun filled day go to vanluefamily.blogspot.com

Mighty to Save

Last night, our God did an amazing thing. See yesterday I was driving to a wedding shower and had been listening to the radio and this song called "Mighty to save," came on. Let me share some of the words with you before I go on. "Every needs compassion, Love that’s never failing, Let mercy fall on me,Everyone needs forgiveness, The kindness of a Saviour, The hope of nations Saviour, He can move the mountains, My God is mighty to save, Forever, Author of salvation, He rose and conquered the grave So take me as You find me, All my fears and failures, Fill my life again, I give my life to follow, Everything I believe in, Now I surrender" Back to the story. Crystal needed a ride home from the shower so I told her on the way home she had to hear this song. Well right at the begnning my brother Steven called me to tell me that he had gotten out of Juvienlle Hall. The first few minutes were wonderful talking to him. It was SO good to hear his voice, but as questions were asked and conversation went on I soon began to realize that he was still wanting to do the things, that got him into trouble in the first place. We ended the conversation, and I proceded to play the song for Crystal. We were both crying, and praying for my brother. The next few hours were not easy, and I had all but wanted to curl up and stay there. I was lacking faith for God to do anything, and I did NOT want to go to Deluge and plaster that smile on. But something inside me told me to go. So I went, and this is where God really spoke to me. Out of ALL the songs that could have been played last night, we sang "Mighty to save," We had never even sung it before. I wanted to cry, scream, shout. I did not know how to contain myself. Then something inside of me said read Psalm 18, and there were 5 verses (30-35) that stuck out that read "This God-his ways are PERFECT; the word of the Lord proves true; he is the shield for all those who take refuge in him. For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?-the God who equipped me with STRENGTH and made my way blameless. He made my feet like the deer and set me secure on the heights. He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand SUPPORTED me, and your GENTLENESS made me great." I kept hearing him say go share it. So I went up to Danny with every bit of strength I had, and shared it. Immediatly he said I want you to read this now. So I got up to the mic. There were problems with it, and between all of that tears started forming and words were blending together. I apologized and started over again and as I read it I just felt peace fall upon me and realization of what I was saying gave me strength to believe that if He can move mountains, and He is the author of our Salvation than He can save my brother from the sin that has intangeld his heart, and blinded his eyes. I can't say that in the past 24 hours I have constantly believed that because I haven't but it has given me HOPE for him and a constant reminder that apart from God's grace I could very well be where he is. Lord there are no words that could possibly describe my how thankful I am that you have choosen me, and given me a love, compassion for my family. I pray that a desire to pray for them to be set free and for them to come to know your saving grace would continue to grow in my heart. I pray for a desire that I will want to read scriptures like I have never read it before. I don't want to be a christian in name only or one who "flirts" with the world. I want to be truly and wholy yours. Set my heart on fire and let that passion that burned in my heart in high school become evident again. You are so good Lord. May all the glory be yours!
