Car accident

This morning while driving in Winter Park I came to a stop only to look in my review mirror seeing a car getting ready to plow in the back of me and then a jolt of all jolts was felt throughout my body. As I was trying to pull over, I noticed that this car was not following me so I u-turned as quickly as possible but it had already made it's get away. I then pulled over again, called the police and looked at the damage. It's really not as bad as I thought it would be. I have some scrapes and paint on my car but that's it. Pretty AMAZING. Though the pain my body is feeling is a totally different story. I can't get a break first my knee, then this. I was already having problems getting things done now I am really going to have a hard time. Please pray for a quick recovery (especially for my neck and left shoulder) and also that they will catch this person. Not that I have high hopes but you never know :o)

So you want to see me dance? :o)

So my dad told me about this thing called Elf yourself and its pretty funny. I think you will have to see just for yourself how good it is. All I can say is you DO NOT want to pass up this opportunity to see some people you know (Jenn, Tara, Stephanie and me) dancing :) Enjoy! http://www.elfyourself.com/?id=1629134006

A challenge...

This post is dedicated to my dear friend Taraleigh. Tonight while at her house the conversation came up that I never have invited them to my house EVEN THOUGH I have given them a key, and I thought they knew they had an open invitation. Anyways she said that I would be scared if someone came knocking at my door and I am saying NO I WON'T unless of course it is late at night so here is my offer, challenge, or whatever you want to call it... ANY and ALL are welcome to my house (if I am even home) I want my house to be an open door, welcoming any and all. I am learning to not be so planned, organized, clean and have to know when things are going to happen. BUT I can't promise you decent food or drinks. So I look forward to seeing who shows up at my door. P.S. If you want to see Christmas decorations, you will have to wait until after this weekend because I won't be doing anything until then :)

Beach weekend

So each year some special friends of mine (The Williams family) allow me to use their beach condo for the weekend. It is SO relaxing there. I had a blast this year, and I even made it over the bridge twice without ANY problems. YAHOO! Next is to accomplish the Golden Gate bridge when I go visit my mom and step-dad next summer. Ugh my stomach is already in knots :( Here are my favorite pictures from my weekend at the beach! Enjoy!

What am I doing this weekend you ask?

This weekend I have the privellege of having the Davis kiddos. Last night we went to the alumni game for Metro's basketball team (I did not get any pictures but we had a great time) and this morning after we got going I took them to where I use to go to elementry school. They have a really FUN playground and we had a blast. Here are some pictures from this morning. Getting ready to go to the playground She makes me smile :) Way to go Jacob ( I could not figure out how to get the picture the right way, anyone know how?) Awww so sweet As you can see Joseph did not want his picture taken Well we are now going to attempt some thrown together arts and crafts, play with my special box of toys and then we have special movie to watch tonight. Check back later to see some more of our fun weekend.

A picture worth a thousand words....

"I know You're there."

When I sing this song, I think of my family, I think of lost loved ones who we sometimes have a hard time standing up to because of fear of being made fun of or being rejected from our family. This song makes me want to dance in the rain, turn in circles. It makes me want to be free, like a little child dancing before their Savior. I think of this song when I feel so far away from Him. I sing this song because HE IS THERE! Oh how you are there Lord! I know You're there by: Casting Crowns If all I had was one last breath I'd spend it just to sing Your praise Just to say Your name If all I had was one last prayer I'd pray it 'cause I know You're always listening If I could love a thousand lives, bind the hands of time I would spend every moment by your side 'cause I, I know You're there, I know You see me You're the air I breathe You are the ground beneath me I know You're there, I know You hear me I can find you anywhere If all I had was one more song to sing I would raise my voice to make the heavens ring If all I had was one last chance, I'd take it I would stake it all on You If I could raise up high and catch a glimpse of every eye I would make them believe What I feel inside If I could live a thousand lives and bind the hands of time If I could rise up high and catch a glimpse of every eye I know You're there I know You're there I know You're there, You're there
